While I give kudos to Eric for getting over the startup hurdles he describes, I can’t help but feel like his site, MakeFive, is a case in point of why some startups struggle. And in particular, struggle to have an audience or generate interest. It’s a website for making a list of 5 things. With a signup. And a catchpa. Hmm… I think a startup with a compelling idea that fills a need is really the first crucial step towards success.
